When bluemonday was originally founded in 2003, retail recruitment was our main specialty. We have since expanded into other sectors, but retail recruitment is still very much at the heart of what we do.
The bluemonday Retail Team are experienced retailers who specialise in recruitment. We are reliable, professional, honest and results-orientated. Our main goal and ambition is to find the perfect person for every assignment.
Debbie Whelan, the founder and owner of bluemonday, started her career in retail before moving into recruitment in 1997. Some of these clients are still our clients today. She continues to lead the bluemonday Retail Team as Director of Retail Operations and Human Resources.
Alex Bannard, our Director of Buying & Merchandising, also has a rich history in both merchandising and recruitment. She has worked internationally and is currently based in Turkey, so she has a truly international perspective.
